Choosing your XK
Whether you choose the coupé or convertible, the Jaguar XK is surely the most sensuous sports car in the world. Now with the spectacular new Carbon Fibre Limited Edition, there are six versions altogether. The XK8 features the powerful 300bhp naturally aspirated 4.2 litre V8, while the XKR has the supercharged version, producing 400bhp, to deliver acceleration of 0-60mph in just 5.3 seconds. All models feature 6-speed automatic transmission.

Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Traction Control and ZF 6-speed automatic transmission are all fitted on the XK8. Automatic climate control, cruise control with automatic speed limiter and multi-function steering wheel with audio and telephone controls are also standard. New additions to the specification include 19" Atlas alloys, sports seats, aluminium instrument bezels and gearshift surround.

The 400bhp supercharged engine is coupled with an advanced, computer controlled suspension and race-bred four-piston Brembo brakes with cross-drilled discs.  At the rear, meaningful quad exhaust pipes and the distinctive spoiler leave a lasting impression of power and grace. The new mesh front grille, 20" Detroit BBS wheels and classic louvered bonnet all emphasise Jaguar´s sporting heritage and the XKR´s athletic performance.

The carbon fibre facia  of this limited edition model with its aluminium instrument bezels, gearshift surround and racing style pedals sets the high-tech, sporting tone. Satellite navigation, Premium Sound and Recaro seats in Ivory or Warm Charcoal soft grain leather are all standard. From outside, the XKR Carbon Fibre is poised on 20" BBS split-rim alloy wheels, set off by Brembo racing red callipers. Only 50 coupés and 50 convertibles have been built.
