High-intensity discharge Xenon headlights, with their distinctive brilliant blue-white glow, provide greater visibility than standard halogen bulbs. They also feature automatic levelling and headlight powerwash. Optional on XK8 as part of  the Convenience Pack, and standard on XKR models.

All XK models feature automatic headlights, which detect ambient light levels and switch on sidelights and dipped beam when needed. Rain sensors, which automatically activate and adjust wiper speed to the volume and intensity of rain, are optional on XK8 with the Convenience Pack and standard on all XK models.

Rear Parking Assist uses ultrasonic sensors in the bumpers to detect unseen obstacles - such as hidden kerbs and low bollards - at the rear of the XK. Audible beeps alert the driver to the remaining distance, as the car gets closer to the obstacle. Rear Parking Assist is standard on all XK models.

Power folding door mirrors fold inwards towards the car to help when parking in tight spaces, on the roadside, or going through a narrow gap. Standard on the XKR and optional on the XK8 as part of the Convenience Pack, they also feature electrochromic glass to prevent glare and are heated for clear visibility in cold or wet weather.
