The entry level 2.5 litre S-TYPE is highly specified. Cruise Control, Electronic Park Brake, Dynamic Stability Control, Traction Control and automatic headlights are all standard. The V6S – available with a 2.5 petrol or 2.7 diesel engine - has aluminium facia, sport suspension, body coloured exterior detail with black window surrounds and 17" wheels.

The world-beating 2.7 litre diesel unit is exceptionally strong and light, enabling sports car performance coupled with good fuel economy and low emissions. Electronically actuated twin turbochargers help produce the class-beating 435 Nm torque, driven through a new ZF 6-speed manual transmission or ZF 6-speed automatic transmission. Available in Classic, S, Sport or SE styles.
